Considering how bad Trump is - it’s laughable the Democrats have a senile old man as the presumptive presidential candidate.

It’s really appalling. They are useless. Imagine if they could just step out of their ridiculous funding process and get behind someone in their 40’s. They would wipe the floor with Trump.

What sort of inspiration is Biden supposed to encourage in people?!

He’s showing how Magic Grandpa should be done.

Trump threatened a terrorist to his face. He told the Taliban leader he would kill him if any Americans got touched by the Taliban, then pulled out a satelite photo of Taliban leaders house and left.

In the video a congressman is saying it's Trump that did this, and I've seen no evidence that debunks it? Could you point me towards that. I see the suggested community note didn't get adopted.
So you didn't read the stuff I posted yesterday? Pompero/Bolton plan, trump wanted the Taliban at Camp David just for the photo OP

Honestly, it never started out like that at all. I came on this thread just to counter some of the misinformation regarding Trump as I could see it's not doing anyone any favours to just have an echo chamber in here as it stifles any intelligent debate about Trump/Biden.

I posted this video the other day, because it perfectly encapsulates my attitude - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eq0X4qDlR0

But as time has gone on, it just seems to me that both sides are truly as bad as each other - Trump tells lies, exaggerrates and says things that he knows will rile up the "right" people, but his economic record (barring covid) was pretty good and he's got all his marbles. Biden is a safe pair of hands (with his team) but he too tells lies, I feel he is too old and too corrupt - should have announced he was stepping down last year.
What corruption? Jordon/Comer spent a year trying to manufacture stuff and came up with nothing.

What evidence do you have? trumps already proven corrupt multiple times over

Again, claims Biden is senile comes from trump camp/GOP.
He's not the one having dementia tests... wink

So much projection of trumps problems onto Biden

He has the evidence that they couldn’t find, but it goes to another school

Full context on Trumps quotes around Jan 6th, he told them to go home. Not early enough though. - https://x.com/Atheen_/status/1689646950453526528

I don't think he himself called for any violence or for Mike Pence to be hung, more his rabid core fanbase did that.

I'm waiting to see what comes out at his trial regarding all this.

If you think that a) he needed to say it openly or b) he actually composed those tweets then I've got a bridge to sell you.

You can get people riled up into a frenzy of violence without saying 'go hang Mike Pence for me' - as seen by January 6th happening. They didn't go there for any other reason than what Trump had fed them.

IMHO Biden can do no wrong after his past support for the UK and he will be head and shoulders better than Trump.

However, he *is* in frail old age, it's not up for debate.

What support for the UK would that be? It is well known that he hates the UK, sometimes openly.

"he too tells lies" - I'm sure there's been lies from Biden, every human lies, and that goes double for anyone in politics. Given sheer volume of lies from trump though I'm not sure they really compare in this area. Plus thus far only one of the candidates has had his lies go so far as to result in a criminal conviction, and it isn't Biden
"got all his marbles" - there's as much, probably more, evidence of trump's marbles exiting stage right then there is of Biden
"too old" - Biden is only three years older than trump is, if he's too old then presumably your cut off is somewhere in those three years. Care to be more specific?
"too corrupt" - anything specific that Biden's done that you're classing as corrupt? Has he filled positions of power and influence with his extended family, regardless of their suitability? Does he have a history of fraudulent business practices? Despite some highly motivated, extensive investigations nothing's come of them to suggest Joe Biden is corrupt. On the other hand trump's corruption in areas of personal, business, political, and even (hilariously) sporting dealings is well documented so I'm curious as to what's driving your conclusion that Biden is too corrupt but trump isn't?

'm pretty lukewarm on Biden myself in some regards, but anyone suggesting the two are "as bad as each other" either hasn't been paying attention or is using a scoring system that's pretty out there.
They can’t ever answer that, because Trump will catch and pass that age very quickly. Trump is probably older now. Than we he first proclaimed Biden too old and had a rant about it.

During the Falklands war he was phoned by a British Minister in whatever role he had and he answered the phone with "Tell me what you need and I'll arrange it.". (Paraphrasing.)

He didn't even need to be asked.

Think you've got that confused with us supporting him / the USA!

He's done nothing for us.

Indeed, a couple of Tweets written by staff do not override the incitement comments leading up to the riot. And what the hell was going on when they finally wheeled the fkwit out when he called them 'very special' and said he 'loved them'?

You might want to look at his support for Britain in the Falklands War

Found this:

Sounds to me like his support was for NATO rather than the UK specifically. It is well known that he hates us - he's Irish, apparently, who knew. He gets it from his mother.

Anyway, this is the 45 thread. The 46 thread is ---> that-a-way.
