You are correct that this is a discussion board.
As you're active on this Joe Biden thread I thought I'd ask you a question about your opinion on the health of Joe Biden.
That's called discussion.
The 'odd person' and 'obsession' comments are uncalled for, but it is noticeable that you and a few others seem keen to talk about Trump on the Biden thread but very coy about offering much of worth about Biden. No critique it seems.
It would have made for better conversation had you given an honest and meaningful answer about Biden outside of the context of 'Biden vs Trump'.
I personally think they're both failing, as could be expected at their age, but it's so much more noticeable with Biden.

Biden is irrelevant, outside of his candidacy against trump.
For now, anyway.

The White House allies say Biden is sharp as a tack when out of the public eye, yet what can be seen of his public appearances does not reflect that at all.
Here's a CNN interview with Siobhan Hughs of the WSJ, explaining the reasoning behind a headline of theirs which questioned Joe Biden's current state. She suggests he's not much better in governmental meetings than what we see of him in public.
https://edition.cnn.com/2024/06/05/politics/video/...
She notes that three meetings were studied and Joe Biden was found to have mumbled, to have spoken in such a low tone that others could only hear every other word or could not understand what he was saying.
She noted that he was over reliant on note cards, even using note cards to cover points that were obvious and shouldn't have needed note cards to prompt.
She suggested he had a loose command of the details.
It's not a good look and doesn't bode well for the debate he's supposed to be having.
And again,if at the debates old grandpa Joe shows up, and he's not mumbling, low voiced, and able to debate just fine without note card and/or autocue, what's the narrative going to be?Here's a CNN interview with Siobhan Hughs of the WSJ, explaining the reasoning behind a headline of theirs which questioned Joe Biden's current state. Body double? (As originally said)
This is the problem with the GOP narrative of old senile joe- it runs the risk of being the "boy who cried wolf"

Agreed, sounds a bit strange they are somehow deliberately fielding a candidate with obvious issues rather than a fresher candidate, because he did well last time? The truth is, Biden just wants to remian president and sod everyone that thinks he's decrepid. I can see that POV but seems like a needless risk for the dems.
He may be old but I'd bet that he can spell 'remain' and 'decrepit' correctly. ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

That's beyond narratives and that's evidence based. You can't explain it away because some kind of narrative exists with the wrong people.
This whole 'body double' thing you keep referring to is entirely yours. You can own that!
It seems that you and some others now seem to be going down the Trumpian avenue of crying 'fake nooz' too much.
Same goes for the video the other day. One long uncut video was posted of a rather awkward looking Joe Biden being led off stage by Barack Obama. The cries from a couple on here were that the video was doctored or faked yet when questioned those people couldn't back up their assertions. Yes Joe Biden may not have been totally zoned out before Obama took him away, like some seem to suggest, but the video shows how people seem to have to be guiding or directing Joe Biden around quite often.
It's the narrative, you and the GOP have it in common.
So for the umpteenth time-
On debate day, in full view of an independent media, if old Joe isn't a bumbling, mumbling doddery old fart, what then?
Are you still going to maintain that your view/narrative is correct?
And you saying not a narrative, it's "evidence based"?
Here's his medical report from february:

Or is the Whitehouse doc involved in some sort of coverup?

I would imagine that the Whitehouse would be involved in a cover up, rightly so in my opinion, he is the leader of the Western world, avoiding a situation where he appears not in control would be important, for any President. So for the umpteenth time-

I expect Joe to dole out a similar drubbing and the subsequent shutting up of the toxic Biden muck spreaders. For a week, at least!
Listened to TRiP US & Americast early this morning. Some insightful thoughts on the upcoming debate - and particularly Katty challenging received wisdom that this format (chosen by Team Biden) is as advantageous as they believe - she pointed out that the lack of Trump hectoring takes away something that played really well for Biden last time - culminating in the famous 'shut up man' moment.

I am sure Joe will win the debate, and if he does why should that exclude people posting any future faux pas?I expect Joe to dole out a similar drubbing and the subsequent shutting up of the toxic Biden muck spreaders. For a week, at least!

Has Trump been charged with Insurrection?
You think he's innocent of insurrection? That's cute.M.
They seem to have charged him with with 87 other things so surely Insurrection is on the list?
Hasn't been charged yet
Summary of his Jan 6th indictments here:

Come back to me when he's charged I suppose.

Problem with an actual court case over this one is that we'll have to see ALL of the footage released, and the 'insurrectionists' who have been outed as Feds already will have to be identified.
Do you have an adult source for this?jshell said:

That’s why Nancy didn’t sent the National Guard in.

I just can't understand why all of it has not been released by right, left, Fox etc. They've all got it! I just find it very strange and smacks of something being hidden.
Because it shows an insurrection in progress.Do you not think, after hundreds of cases, all convictions, that if there was any "false flag" stuff it would have surfaced by now?
