Speaker Johnson went on CNN to claim trump was just joking about Biden being on cocaine for the debate, but then realises he wasn't on message

"Look, there's a lot of things that are said in jest. Of course, no one expects that Joe Biden will be on cocaine but they do ask questions and I think their objectively... I mean I think it makes sense why people are asking, 'Will Biden be on some sort of energy drinks or something, okay?"

So can't quite bring himself to repeat that Biden will be pumped full of drugs, but still making the inference

That’s true, but it’s the arguments used. I’m happy to point out Trump’s major issues as much as the next, but WE should be consistent in our arguments, not switching around and using them or not depending which is better for our case. Say the polls are good or bad all the time, say aggressive language isn’t good whoever does it and so on. It’s a lesser version of what Trump does, where he has to win every single point in his mind, and isn’t a good thing.

He notes that because of the "ample evidence to justify continued concern for the jurors," the protections laid out in a March 2024 order "regulating disclosure of juror information" will stay in place until he decides otherwise.

It’s worth reading the comments under Stormy Daniel’s tweet. Whilst there’s a lot of support, the sheer volume of opposition to her is quite scary. This shows that there a still a huge amount of idiots suckered into Trump’s grift and they aren’t moving position.

Roll on the debate and Trump’s no-show. At least that’s what I’m predicting.
