Interesting that SKS is saying they need to put working people first.

Imagine having a functioning brain and thinking Labour could actually be worse.
I think it could be worse but I think we are in "try literally anything else and see what happens" a situation.

Prepare for the dirtiest, most antagonistic and negative campaign that we’ve ever seen.
You reckon? Rishi and Kier are head and shoulders above Boris and Corbyn. (And Davey is better than Swinson.)

Wether you like Starmer or Labour or not, the optics of his and Sunak’s speeches are worlds apart

I’m just glad I will be on holiday during the election on a very small island in the med with no access to tv, papers or internet as the hysteria, hatred, news coverage, office chat and bhing will be unbearable.

Tory MPs are not amused, feel they have been thrown under a fleet of busses ... Is there time to appoint a new leader before 4th July? Could they... Would they?

Window dressing is what gets people into shops!

Yep, and once Labour get in, the only ones everyone will be able to afford will be charity shops.

i might write 'None of the above' on my paper!
You could, but it will make exactly zero difference.
Sadly I know that's true but as I get older I become more cynical. None of them are competent enough to run the country and certainly none of them deserve my vote. frown

Welcome To ChatGPT4.0, what is your question?

User: Translate this for me 'SKS is saying they need to put working people first'

ChatGPT 4.0 - Translation: He does not refer to you, this Millionaire is saying anyone in the U.K public sector or, anyone serving them their morning wet-mocha-latte on minimum wage will get more free stuff.

User: Who is paying for that?

ChatGPT4.0 - Answer: You are.

I'm 81 non partisan, voted in every GE I was eligible for, and voted for all the major parties at various times.

July 4th I'm really uncertain who I will vote for. The Tories...we'll get much of the same and so we kind of know what we'll be getting. Labour...all vanity projects so far, nothing really planned or costed etc despite what they say, and we know that in 5 years the coffers will be bare and the country general bust. The Tories have taxed us to death so this puts Labour in an interesting position as they usually have to increase general taxation. Then there's the Lib Dems. I have no idea what they are about except for their focus on local policies which will not work nationally. I'm unlikely to vote for the Greens until they have a viable transportation policy not centered on climate change leading to general disruption.

I'll read the manifestos and then decide.

They are going to lose a lot of short money, which isn’t great for them when it comes to the Scottish election. But they do still have the use of a battle bus/motorhome (if the Police release it from the pound by then).

While in the Conservative shop, half the MPs are trying to hump the mannequins, half the remainder are busily stealing the stock and the rest are setting fire to the shop itself.

The wheels on the bus fell right off, fell right off, fell right off. And repeat smile
