thumbs up for "Temple Grandin"
Discussion
I have just watched this on Sky Atlantic.
What a great film. It’s such a pleasure to find an all consuming film with.
No explosions! No gratuitous violence, No irrelevant love story and not an overly bearing Hollywood slant.
I love films like this, a fascinating story of a truly inspirational person.
The acting by Clare Danes was a fitting tribute to Temple Grandin. Her performance reminded me of the great Jack Nicholson in one flow over the cuckoo's nest, both almost becoming their characters.
So you get a brilliant semi-biographical film and outstanding acting.
Brilliant entertainment, more please.
