Well, the other night we listened to Miranda Hart (apparently a comedienne?) and some other bloke who I'd never heard of, and it was staggeringly awful.

I'm convinced this is all part of the BBC's grand plan to make me buy another digital radio. They keep moving things I like to one of their digital stations and I can only get decent reception for Radio5 on digital. Jo Whiley is simply awful.

I'll miss the evening show as it has been great company as I work away all week. I'll be interested to hear what Joe Whiley can do, I found her Radio 1 show okay, but the sycophantic listener responses tedious.

I'm looking for a USB powered DAB radio, so I don't need to take a couple of changes of batteries to the office each week and it will plug into the cars USB.

Excellent!! - Can't say I'm going to miss Namone either.

Rest of 6 music is brilliant at the moment, although I'm still missing Huey doing the morning stint.

My DAB portable died last night.

Still it gives me more incentive to get something that will work in the car as well. I'm thinking about an Intempo iDAB, has anyone tried one. I'm hoping it will plug into the ipod cable in the car.

I'll miss them in the evenings as I put in the late shift at my computer, Jo Whiley on now, she just doesn't sound right and the things she's asked listeners to phone in about sound more suitable for some teens station - Looks like I'll have to resort to the iplayer for grown-up radio.

Marc Riley is on 6 Music in the evenings, followed by Gideon Coe. Both are pretty good.
