Spotted so far... a nice old Bentley, a (rather nasty coloured) Purple Daytona, MGA etc...

Alhough with my best Anorak on, in the 'old' bit of sixties racing, the commentary referred to Luffield corner, added in '91 I believe

Some very nice pre-war cars. A couple of pre-32 Bentleys, a featured Alvis, a Lagonda. Also and what looked like a Talbot Lago. Not to mention the Series 1 E-type and Alfa Montreal.

I was somewhat distracted by Clara Paget lick but there were plenty of nice cars on it too.

Remember seeing what could well be the old Bentley parked up in a public car park in Windsor last summer, wonder if it was there as part of filming, which was obviously carried out in / around Windsor.

I thought Neil Dudgeon was rather good as the new Barnaby. He's always excellent value of course and at the moment doesn't appear to have an enfuriating daughter whose never done a proper job in her life. She, it appears, has been replaced by a fat dog, and one which is a better actor.

I feel sorry for Neil. All attention will be moved from the show and critics will berate it for having no blacks or asians in it, something that they failed to notice and criticise in the dozen or so years it's been on.

It seems odd that such a light-hearted show has caused such a furore. Mind you, the patois vomiting caucasian DJ was a bad choice for straight after the comments to the Radio Times.

Nice cars though.

I wonder where and when they filmed it. Spotted an Octane stand in the background, so it looked like a "proper" car show, rather than being set up just for filming?

Lovely F40....

The latest issue of Octane suggests it was setup just for the show.

Noticed a Brooklands stand too. Maybe the Octane tie up is part of product placement which is now allowed
on TV.

Obviously Eton was Eton, but the 'car show' was about 20 miles away, Bearwood Collage, Sindlesham near Reading.
