As F1 is being broadcast in HD thid year, I've treated myself to a Freesat HD recorder. I didnt plan it too well as the dish wont be installed until next Sunday after the race! Anyway, I can always watch the highlights at 7. Anyway, When I looked at the listings for BBC HD there is no mention of the qualifying or race being shown live on that channel. Surely the race will be broadcast live in HD so how come it isnt listed?

If it is on BBC1 it will be on BBC1 HD, not BBC HD. Isn't there some odd restriction on HD recordings being made in SD? It sounds bizarre but I'm sure I didn't dream it.
