Watched this film last night, what a blast! Proper non thinking action flick, i really don't think my upstairs neighbours appreciated it!

So why did you do it? Don't you care about them? Or are you more important than them?

Saw it in the theaters about a month ago iirc.
Indeed, non-thinking action flick.
John Malkovich was a great character as ever.
Bruce Willis was badass as ever.

Well i ran the sound through my hi fi amp and floor standers, and it was difficult to acheive a nice balance between hearing the dialogue on the non action scenes, and not deafening my partner and i during the action sequences.

Thanks for your reply wink

Yup... This, and 'The Expendables' seem to be 2 recent flicks that are based more around the fun action flicks of old.

The good news is they are planning a sequel and the writer of the first (comic) is involved

True, but tbh I enjoyed RED 10x more than the expendables, the expendables was all a bit too "Rambo" (not a coincidence, I know) for me, while RED was more refreshing because of the setting (imho).

Watched it last weekend, great humour and very enjoyable.

I was also amazed that Ernst Borgnine who played Dominic Santini in Airwolf is still acting. 94 years old!

Everybody in the theater was laughing so hard, you don't see that very often.

Warren Ellis - really superb writer. I read that comic; very good, ludicrously violent, short story of revenge.

Hard to imagine how this film is anything to do with it, from looking at the cast and trailers. Might have to watch it anyway.

No comment on your opinion, but I think the intent was that he looked old as well.
