Should it be released? Is it too soon?

Very poor taste. I have a loose connection to the family and they continue to live in utter despair at the loss of their beautiful daughter, her friends remain completely devastated.

From their perspective, so much attention has been given to those individuals in prison and little regard paid to the family or indeed the murdered girl.

I'm biased I guess having witnessed first hand the grief of this particular case. This film is cashing in on such a painful event.

In my opinion yes poor taste and too soon. Hayden Pannatierre made some very silly comments about looking forward to meeting Amanda Knox, almost as if Knox herself was some kind of folk hero to her. I know the film airs this month in the states.

To the Americans it's the story of a pretty young, and crucially potentially innocent, American lass caught up in a deadly affair involving a murder. They confidently expect that when the appeal is heard, the evidence reviewed, she will be coming home.

To the British it's the dire tale of a poor young British girl murdered abroad to satify the foul urges of up to three perverts.

The truth is in there somewhere and I would not be surprised if the appeal does, in fact, change the outcome for Knox and Sollecito. But have the Italians got the killer or not? Maybe. We can't know.

I do think a movie is in bloody poor taste, though, despite understanding the differing perspectives. For the Knox family they are probably hoping a movie will help raise donations for the girl's defence...

Whats the story line? If goes along with the courts judgement of the events, surely it depicts Knox and the others killing her, and therefore is unlikely to pursuade people to donate for her appeal?

A film at this time, whilst the case/ appeal is ongoing is surely not a good idea?

That was one of my thoughts. Not just from a legal point, From what I've read, the film appears to be portraying Foxy Noxy in a favourable light?

Wouldn't have been allowed under UK law as the case is still under appeal.
