So this movie gets an Oscar nomination. Why? Complete and utter nonsense. Seriously, is this the best the so-called Brit Film Industry can do?

We`re in deep trouble!!

Errr...you mean making films that most people love, young and old, male and female.....as well as dominating all the awards? I've not meet anyone yet who didnt like it.

I thought it was good and I enjoyed it. Back to basics film.

Colin Firth was excellent and it was well written. I wouldn't watch it again, but it was worth a watch.

No boobs or guns?

The "so-called" Brit Film Industry has spent £1billion on production last year and contributes £4.5billion to the economy. The Kings Speech has already repaid the investment in the film 10 times over.

12 oscar nominations can't prove anything though can they?

What exactly was wrong with the film?

O I see, King with a speech impediment has to make a speech. Like Gareth Gates on popfactor all those years ago (minus the king bit)

It was a so-so film, not worth watching again, not worthy of Oscars etc.

Geoffrey Rush was good.

I think it helps if you are over 15 years old to see it.

I can't remember the last time i saw a film where everyone applauded at the end!

Really really good, really enjoyed it. Lionel Logue was the highlight though, great character.
