A pretty tough trivia question

For anyone who watched the BBC drama 'Hattie', what was the board game on the floor.
The pieces look like those from Cluedo.
The board looked like a map of West Europe & the Americas.
There were cards that looked a bit like top trumps with text on the reverse.
It also looked like there was money & two piles of cards, similar to Chance & Community Chest from Monopoly.
The only thing I could think of was 'Go', but as a kid, never played it properly, preferring to stuff the pieces in my kid brothers mush.
