Well. I would go as far to say that It was "ok" at the time. But it doesn't hold up today.

Same here. It used to be on late on a Saturday night so was ideal post-pub viewing.

A good show, the Stones intro was the best bit.

I watched this as a teenager in the mid-90's when it was on Bravo at 23:00 or so. I used to religiously record it and watch it when I got home from school.

My dad came in one day to see the titles playing (of which, not knowing it was the 'stones, I loved) and, being a huge 'stones fan in the 60's and 70's ran off to grab his old record collection and introduce me to them.

A great series imo.

I watched this waaay back when, and thought it brilliant. Most watchers think series 2 is the weakest and it regains a little in 3.

It's the ending and seeing them going home that makes this series stand out for me

classic series, I remember watching it as a student 'back in the day' after a night in the uni bar wink

keep an eye out for 'china beach' too, its out there, if hard to find.

Shame they havent reissued either series on dvd really frown
