If anyone finds anything to watch for the rest of the night, anything even half decent, please, let us know. It's dire.

This years viewing has been utter turd imo.

Almsot every film repeated at least once if not more times.

The BBC should be shot for the christmas tv they have produced this year or at least refund us some of the licence fee for the utter rubbish they put on during december.

In fact the only entertaining program was the Top Gear specials

Ill agree it was crap but I'm bemused by two things:

  1. 1 Christmas TV is always st, when has it ever been "good"?
  1. 2 What did you all expect on Xmas TV? What actually classes as good Xmas TV?

I'm not convinced it's just this year though. Been years since I've seen a programme advertised and thought "MUST watch that"

Iron Man is hidden away on Channel 4 on Sunday at 5:40pm

Now why wasn't that on Christmas Day?

No "Great Escape", or Bond, or Indiana Jones. I feel let down. Although I understand "Zulu" was on at some point which is quite nice.

Bond movies are always on, Living Daylights was on yesterday and ITV have had a big run of them over the last few months. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is on today BBC1 5:35.

But it's the usual practice of putting the better things (disclaimer) on after the holidays.

Disclaimer - I do not include Indy IV in reference to better things. smile

I think part of the problem is that the christmas specials that have been provided have been of a very low quality too:

Top Gear - not a patch on previous years
Benidorm - really really bad
Peepshow - passable
Father Ted Night - Excellent comedy, but not exactly exciting if youve watched the repeats every Sunday night for the last 6 months!

Oh, and no Moonracker wink
