Watched Dogma last night with my 11 year old daughter but then why did I insist that she then watch Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. She liked it but when she read out the hitcher's sign, I realised that it was time to hit the stop button. Damn Cobra beer.

When watching Dogma (a 15 so why are you showing a 11 year old this?) did you miss lines such as, upon waking up, Jay says to Bob "I didn't cum in you, I swear" and if not, how did you explain this to your 11 year old daughter?

She showed great interest in the story of Dogma ie the Fallen Angels, the Apostle etc and the Jay and Bob lines were minimal and I just talked loudly over those.

As to Strike Back, I agree, so my bad, I had had a couple of large Cobras but then she is a Londoner so quite used to the F word although she's a sensible and clever lass and does not swear. The Poop Shoot rants were covered by my laughter anyway.

There are plenty of those 12 films that younger ones are allowed to see with a grown up that I would never let her see.

Above all people it was just supposed to be a funny out-take of my home life. I expected a few comments along the lines of what good/bad films they are but I did not expect the Spanish Inquisition (Social Services).

I got into the movies the wrong way round and didn't really understand them. I first saw Chasing Amy and didn't see what all the fuss was about. then got forced into watching Dogma and couldn't stop laughing. I think, and I know I'm in the minority here, that Clerks II is the best film. Especailly Randal's rant about Lord of the fking Rings.
