Nobody in the UK appears to have heard about it but 'United States of Tara', starring Toni Collette, is brilliant.

Luther
The Inbetweeners
Big Bang Theory

I finished The Pacifc last night on Blueray.... Not as good as BoB, good I can't really put my finger on way. I guess the characters were much harder to like, some of the stuff they did was verging on phycopathic the guys in BoB were all nice, decent people who largely kept their humanity during everything that went on, when these guys were mutalating the dead (and not so dead) within hours of joing the fight, plus for a war series a whole episodes without any actual action in them?

I'm trying to get into 'how I met your mother' but I never know when it's on and I think I need to see the first one to get into the premis of it.

Worst?

Srubs series 7 (the latest one anyway) it's utter bobbings, glad it's dead. I know it's not really the same thing, but how can US TV execs drop shows like My name is Earl with a "to be continued" and Deadwood a whole series before it reached it natural ending and yet a great show like Scrubs be flogged and flogged until it's that bad.

Misfits. It shouldn't work and I shouldn't like it, but I do. A lot.

Other than that, Peep Show is good for a giggle, Inbetweeners was great again.

There are definately a few gems of programs amongst the dross and crap!

Misfits. Top of the list.

And in no particular order:
Chuck. (disappeared from wales and then freeview in general I think. Had to buy the DVDs)
How Not to Live Your Life
Peep Show
Whites
Glee (was that this year or last? anyway....)
Harry Hill'sTV Burp (even tho I've seen almost nothing on it!)
Sorry, I've Got No Head (CBBC wink )

I like comedy. Don't bother with much else TBH

Ummmm.... I notice that "proper" comedy series seem to feature heavily now - sketch shows are a bit dead for me at the moment - apart from "Sorry..." which is excellent and shouldn't be tucked away for children ("Why is it so funny?" "Well, because it's on CBBC we can't finish the sketches with anything rude or nasty, so we have to use jokes").

I don't go out of my way often to watch tv & this year the only ones I've bothered with were..

Dr. Who.
Colditz.
The last series of Ice Road Truckers was a bit better & less dramatic than the previous series.
But the winner is.. East Bound & Down which I have thoroughly enjoyed but the last of the series is next week. frown

This. Endlessly fascinating, well presented and visually stunning. Worth a years license fee in itself.
