Inspired by the other thread.

Who are the actors who you just know will make the film?

For me it's very easy :- Johnny Depp

depp is good i agree, and what a career he's had.

i'd add:

william h. macy
daniel day lewis
naomi watts
heath ledger
christopher plummer
tony hopkins
edward norton
brad pitt
kevin spacey
gabriel byrne
albert finney
cate blanchett

maybe a touch controversial:

george clooney

Vernon Wells.

At The Fringe some years ago, I caught Cat Stevens performing Bennett from the original Commando with The Latin, supported by Ian Anderson's simultaneous interpretation of 'Jazz Odyssey' upon that famous flute.

Normally a supporting actor. His performance in "Breach" was outstanding.

Bond aside, I always thought Timothy Dalton was a very underrated actor.

I have to add

My favourite TV Actors:

Timothy Ollyphant - Justified

Michael C Hall - For Dexter pretty much

John Lithgow - For Dexter 5 (I could have givien him a standing ovation from my sofa)

My favouite film Actors:

Tim Roth - for Funny Games - So I also have to inclue:
Naomi Watts
Rufus Sewell - For all the villans he has played
Johnny Depp - only 1 bad film IMO (An no one ever agrees with me so I won't name it)
Shia LaBeouf - Hmm, quite a few films he has don'e very well in.
Heath Ledger - Batman - oh wow.

I'll stop there, in my fantasy world of rather fanciable actors!

ETA: I do not fancy John Lithgow or Naomi Watts!
EETA: After a long think I do not fancy Tim Roth either!

Harry Lloyd. He'll be a big name one day IMO. Cracking young actor.

You may remember him from such classics as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC0NuBaliLs&fea...
