Coming out this Christmas. The original is a Western classic with John Wayne from 1969. This is not a remake persay but an adaption a bit closer to the orignal book. Coen Brothers make excellent movies ("Brother Where Art Thou", etc. ).

Better be better than No Country For Old Men. Waste of time watching that.

That looks very good smile They generally don't do bad films and I loved the way they did the modern western (No Country..)

Agreed; that was another example of artsy farts making movies to impress their other artsy peers. smile

confused Not sure how you classify No Country as an artsy film, I thought the performances from all the main actors were great and Javier Bardem was an amazing bad guy.

Out of interest, what aspect of the film would you describe as 'artsy' ?

I was sort of disappointed that Coen's defiled an Ealing Classic, so look forward to this latest film with mixed givings.

I was really enjoying No country until the end, i was so so disappointed with the ending , great acting but such an awful ending
