Upto bout 2 months ago i was happily receiving BBC London on my channel 101, living in south essex, was just about covering what i needed in the way of travel, news, weather etc. Then suddenly it changed to BBC East (E) and i'm getting local stuff for Norwich!!

Sky (wel, the Indian help desk) are adamant that they can't change this back as it's a "BBC thing as it is a freeserve channel" Or are Sky - as my tv supplier talking out of their arse?

Am I able to get this changed back to a more local BBC channel as I had before?

^^^^rolleyes Not exactly helpful, but thanks I know about 974. The question is, shouldnt the BBC1 station reflect your Local station, which for me is London, not 100 miles North of me and Zero relevance when it comes to the news, travel and weather. And, how can I get it chaned Back to what it was

It is programmable by Sky, usually by Postcode.

Yes I get Yorkshire and Lincolnshire on 101.
I used to get North West. But because of my postcode being in Yorkshire (by about 3 feet) I now don't.

Lincoln in 100 miles from me.
Manchester is 18.

But yes I end up on 978.

Just live with it.
