That does look rather cool biggrin

This is a very obscure reference but that bloke at the end who says, "set you free," sounded exactly like the voice over Peace and Tranquility by Messiah from the early 90s rave album biggrin

Oh dear.

Some of the reviews of this movie already appearing are quite shockingly bad. In a career ending way.

"It’s like spending two hours in the mind of a chronically masturbating thirteen year old boy who can’t keep his hands off his thing long enough to hold a halfway decent conversation."

"This movie is so wrapped up in itself you get the feeling it would like to be left alone with a box of tissues and a bottle of lotion,"

"Of all the adventures I’ve enjoyed over the course of this week, I think my introduction to the masturbatory preferences of director Zack Snyder was my least favorite encounter."

I think I spot a trend here...

Oooppss.

the reviews appear to be from people going to see a pucker film, not simply going to geek out at the visual-fest that this will be. It never was going to win an Oscar for it's plot...

The ones over at IMDB seem more favourable (from punters from than paid whingers) : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0978764/usercomments

So this is one of those ones that will do badly at the Box Office but have massive DVD sales then? hehe

I am quite looking forward to this! thumbup

It will have no plot to speak of, there will be v.poor acting and the script will be a series of cheesy one liners.

But it has giant chainsaw wielding samurai robots! SOLD! biggrin

On rottentomatoes.com this is getting some bizarre ratings;

90% positive reviews by the public

19% positive reviews by the critics (one of the lowest ever recorded on the site.)

This however is genius, no matter if you like the film or not. (does contain one major spoiler.)

Just shows how out of touch critics are with what people actually like.

There was a soapbox article in EVO by Harry saying he wondered if the same were true for car journalists.
