Starts again tonight, Channel 5 at 10pm.

Anyone else looking forward to this?

Been watching it on Living, two seasons ahead of Five I think, so I don't want to give any spoilers. Still a good show in the detach brain and just watch and enjoy with partner mould.

Ah, I have no idea what series I am watching, just the standard Channel 5 show on a Friday night though.

I do like some of the groovy surgery etc as well and I think it's pretty medically accurate too, which makes it even more interesting!

I shunned my wife for watching this at first but now (I hate to admit) I actually quite enjoy it. Wasn't so keen on the spin off though.

Thread resurrection 15 years later.

I watched 'Good American Family' a couple of months ago and saw that the lead actress, Ellen Pompeo, was in a series called 'Grey's Anatomy', so thought I'd give it a watch.

Suddenly transported to 2005, with Ellen being 20 years younger, and I was hooked.

22 series with 20 odd episodes per series. I probably watch a couple of episodes a night smile

Just started series 7 yesterday after the last two episodes of series 6, which I have to say was pretty edge of my sofa viewing.

Really didn't think that a US medical drama would be my thing, but it seems it is biggrin

Hang on! I have to admit to liking ER back in the day.

It's a great series - that end of series 6 was some of the best TV, I remember me and the wife staying up past midnight because we couldn't turn it off! Went downhill a bit in the later series but that's not unusual with such a long running show.
