Didnt have much hopes for it as the OH picked it and it was fantastic... if of course you like back stabbing and foul mouthed language.. kind of like a cross between the sargent in full metal jacket and a bit of how bad british politics is.

Did you watch the BBC series? I'm a MASSIVE fan of the original, and I'm really tempted to see the film but the James Gandolfini/yank storyline really puts me off.

Hoping to go see this this week, proving somewhat difficult to see near me, I'll be in Brum on Friday which is the nearest place with it on.

Big fan of the The Thick Of It, this will tide me over until Series 2 appears later this year.

Just got back. Absolutely cracking movie. If you're a fan of in the thick of it then it will deliver in a huge way.

told you it was a good film with so many genuine laugh out loud moments.... usually when malcom is unloading both barrels into one of the other characters

Very very good. I loved the scene where Tucker bursts into Simon's room in Washington and lays into him, and Coogan's scenes were great too.
