A quick heads up for all the mid to late 30's amongst us who will no doubt want to watrch this and moan how the "crap" original was far superior!! laugh

Premiers on sci fi channel on 12th may, on a positive, the new Mustang Kit looks half decent.

i think its just as cheesy as the original but at least something happens every episode and there are allways fit women with next to nothing on.
if you want a show that really isnt as good as the original go and watch the dreary last series of bsg.it must have cost them pennies to make there was little or no action/story(apart from 3 episodes) not even a bit of side boob.

I've seen a couple of episodes.

The pilot was rather good.

Series was a bit dire. Ridiculous (note correct spelling of this word dumbasses biggrin) transformers thing from mustang to suv, just laughable and poor. Really bad bluescreen incar footage too, what century are we living in now exactly?? what makes it worse is the straight ahead steering whilst going round corners and vice-versa. All in all, some very poor production values there. Is there some ridiculous low budget for the series or something?????

Anyway, get rid of the poor transform to suv and tidy up the in-car footage to be even remotely realistic and it will be offering the same as the 80s show. Hopefully they think of some interesting storylines. The whole "crew" at base camp thing and the fit lady with Michael all the time isn't really fitting in with the original remit of "one man can make a difference", "a lone ranger" etc........

What he said. I'm 20 and seen all the originals (mate has the box-sets, hes same age).

Be interesting to see. The original was a bad for cost cutting, same jumps shown over and over. The girls being the same ones with a change of hair/accent etc. Gotta love the 80's cheese though smile

The first few episodes are a bit cheesy but it's worth sticking with it as they do go back to their routes! wink
