But a good precursor to F1 returning to the Beeb
Ali Larter and Hayden Pantywhatsername still make it worth watching for me. That and Sylar, I love the way he can act with just his face...
who do you mean, slugsy??

Still very watchable imo.
But once this series concludes I struggle to see where it can go. But then I'm not a writer.
We know from series one that Hiro becomes a darker character setting up the save the cheerleader plot but is currently sitting powerless.
That needs resolved as probably do many other things that I cannot recall just now.
But will the writers ignore all that and plough on with completely different ideas.
Damn I sound like a geek.

For me, the problem with most sci-fi series is, they soon realise that dialogue is more "cost effective" than special effects.
You mean to say that they realise story telling is more effective than special effects?Heroes has never really been a major one for the special effects. Well, excepting a cheerleaders body healing itself, sylar slicing peoples heads off, peter flying, flamethrowing numpties, ladies who can turn people to ice ...
I think its still very watchable. Sylar is a great character and a great actor, but now he has done good guy made bad, turned good, done bad, found source of his turmoil I don't see where he can go. Peter and Nathans characters both quite weak and feeble these days I think, Angela the only interesting Petrelli left. HRG still very good in a Micahel Douglas Falling Down type way...
Hiro and Ando were amusing but again, they have lost the plot as has Parkman. Not many surprises at the moment, maybe afew new characters needed?

Im up to episode 20 "The Cold Snap" it really has grabbed my attention again. I wont give anything away ( for those following the UK schedule, but Rebel has just been revealed!
Good times!
If I'm counting right The Cold Snap will be on BBC3 ant 2230 on the 30th March.Good times!
I'm not starting any Rebel guessing games. Could just spoil the reveal.
I'm still watching it, it has gone down and very complicated recently but I'm sticking with it. I think the main reason for the down turn was Bryan Fuller leaving the writing in an earlier series to go and do Pushing Daisies. Now that Daisies is finished Fuller is coming back into this series soon, hopefully he'll give the writers a slap and get things as they were again
.
A few things I hope they sort out or explain -
Peter 'borrows' powers by touching people now? He used to absorb them by being close to them...
How did Sylar get out of the Pinehurst fire?
But at least I know where Sylar got his braining finger pointing power from now
