That guy James seems to be a tit.

Where does a C list tv chef get £650k for a car?

He seems like a cock end.

I also hate the way every thing is sensationalised, eg..

He needs a car -

OH NO! It needs to be made no later than '57 (or whatever)

asks Nick Mason, Nick sorts it out with the wise words 'talk to your dealer' but then...

OH NO! It could cost up to £300,000!!!!

it's alright, he's just gonna shove it on the plastic. but then...

OH NO! His hot girlfriends wants to come along, and cleverly pipes up 'if he stuffs it into i ditch, then its worthless' (that's what insurance is for, dear)

and she also wants to do the navigating, but

OH NO! shes not as good with a map as she is sucking cocks...

load of toss IMHO, ended up turning off and coming on here.

It's OK, Have I Got News For You on in half an hour.

It is his garage, read an article on his collection a while back and he owns loads of cars and bikes.

Can't agree, read his book and it shows he's a car nut (if not to say geek). Problem with this programme is the moron who scripted the voiceover, the idiots guide to cars.

Would it be possible to make a worse program about this subject?

He used to date Barbara Broccoli and i'm not sure if she bought him an Aston DBS, or if he actually rejected it in the end.

I think he has had at least one TVR and he was the chap that wrote off that new shape Impezza STI earlier this year.

Of course its dramatised....its a fecking television programme. They're not exclusively put on for petrolheads, its for the general public, some people who are watching this now are going to be the same people who vote in strictly come dancing. To most, the idea of spending £600,000 on a car is crazy, not many on here can afford to but are not strange to the notion.

Most TV is a form of escapism, hence why its played up for the retards who lap up drama for something to talk about.

People really need to stop reading to deep into programmes on television these days.

Surely the F1 cars are worth more than the old one.

Why the Porsche bashing too?

What on earth ? I'm embarrassed to be on the same forum as you all above. This is a guy with a tremendous passion for cars doing something we would give our right arm to do. It's very obvious his massive massive passion I'm a absolutely loving this program and as o said I really am embarrassed to be on the same forum as you guys.
