Sorry to say that early reviews of the new Bond film don't all look promising....
Well there have been some good reviews but a surprising amount of negative ones, waiting to see for myself. Trailer looks very awesome, but another trashed Aston This time minus a door and plenty of bullet holes.

I can't wait for this movie! I'll be recapping on the last one later next week in preparation
Mum and Dad received a family invition, from our Aston dealer, to go to an advanced screening. A black tie affair and £50 per head, for a charity do.
It's a shame we couldn't make it!

Everyone knows the last decent bond film was Goldeneye and then Tomorrow Never Dies was quite entertaining. After that all the others have been terrible and the CGI looked bad. They should just leave it out. I don't think i'll see a new bond film any more as they're all poor. Never watched Casino Royale and couldn't give a care about the new one.

Casino Royale is absolutely superb. Its in a completely different vain to every other Bond movie. Gadgets are gone, storyline is back, CGI is largely gone. CR makes a mockery of all the Bond films in the past, and Daniel Craig makes the part his own. Easily better than all the previous Bond actors.Rupert Da Fridge said:

If you call yourself a Bond fan, you have to see Casino Royale. What is so bad about the modern Casino Royale? Apart from it should be Baccarat and not poker.
Personally I think casino royale is spectacularly acted and produced, and can't wait for the new one. Also reckon Craig will be remembered as one of the best bonds if the rest are as well executed as Royale.
Whilst I agree it's a shame the Brosnan ones went in the direction they did (average storylines and pretty poor all in all after goldeneye) Casino Royale is an absolute must, nothing like the brosnan dross.
Shame really as Brosnan could well have been well up there in my best bond list, goldeneye was amazing, if only it weren't for the rest of them being laughable. I'm sure he's gutted he never made it onto my list.

I think the current bond is the best, by virtue of not using too much cgi, plenty of gritty action, no unbelievable luck (imagine going in to play roulette and getting two consecutive numbers spot on), not overly humourous when in stressful situations, just a good solid movie.
Thats the movie I'm talking about. The actor himself puts in a pretty good performance too, though its hard to measure up to Sean Connery. All good though.

Sorry, let me get this straight, You...Love...Mercs? God, I despair of young people these days. What exactly do you love about them? Do you aspire to be a taxi driver? What happened to all the Countach, Aston and 911 Turbo posters? It'll be IluvMondeos next.Mum and Dad received a family invition, from our Aston dealer, to go to an advanced screening. I'm looking forward to the film. I have heard crits that there was no humour (there used to be too much) and the storyline was too complex (used to be none at all). So all in all I am optimistic. The CGI in Die Another Day was laughable, and to my mind the least convincing parts of Casino Royale were the petrol tanker sequence and the entirely gratuitous collapsing building in Venice. The film would have been fine without these. Hollywood needs to pay its writers more and its special effects people less. Special effects have become so boring - after a while all explosions look the same and I fall asleep.

As an aside, I played roulette in the Casino in Monte Carlo on Saturday! Felt a bit of a nob standing in the queue for chips with all these millionaires cashing x thousand Euros and me with my trusty 50 Euro note...
Great fun though, a bit of a Bond moment and one to check off the list...
