The Thirteenth Floor is sort of a remake of World On A Wire, both of which are based on Simulacron-3.

I thought the US Office was excellent, but it was a different show to the UK one. Like Parks & Recreation it was a long running comedy drama/soap. I think with a different name it would have been more accepted by the UK audience who will automatically compare it to the UK version.

Not so good -
Oldboy (2013)

There are quite a few remakes of French films I can't remember.

I'd say Speak No Evil is better than the remake, especially the ending and Over Your Dead Body is slightly better than The Trip, both remakes of Norwegian films.
