Didn't think I would like this , Nic Cage very good in it , you have the option to watch in Black and white or colour!

just started watching it - it is rather good. I've chosen to watch in colour, though I would imagine that B&W would be rather effective too

Thought I would hate it but I’m really enjoying it.

Happy to watch it in colour. Although higher definition tv accentuates how cheap some of the sets are.

Very entertaining series - so far.

I've watched the first two, very good, proper old school noir.

Not a huge fan of the films but I liked the first episode of this new TV series. Nic Cage plays, well, Nic Cage as a tired private dick who happens to be an ex super hero (the Spider) in thirties Noo Yewk (TBF, Cage is good in this, dialling down the usual nuttiness). The pacing of the show, acting, cast and production values all look spot on so far, as does the opening storyline and initial plot arcs. I watched in B&W too.....

Watched the first episode last night and enjoyed it.

Went with black and white, might rewatch in colour and see what I think, but I felt the B&W worked really well.

I’ve watched 6 episodes so far. Two in colour, the others in black and white. I think it works better in B&W. The lighting and cinematography is done well. Some shots look like they are directly from a comic book page.

I am enjoying it. A bit silly in places, but that’s ok.

I really enjoyed this and I'm not fan of superhero films.
Was this the story of Spiderman from the old comics of the 30s or a "new" story and had no connection to the original?

No connection to original from what I remember from my childhood comic days

Spider-Noir is a 21st century invention.

The original 1960s comics origin is what we usually see in the films. High school pupils Peter Parker gets bitten by a radioactive spider.

It's loosely linked to the Spider-verse films - Nic Cage voiced the character in those (first one anyway)..

Enjoyed it. Easy watch, predictable. I'd watch more if they did more.

Watched the first three or four, have to say I'm not a huge fan. It's a bit too much Picard-on-the-holodeck-carrying-out-his-Philip-Marlow-detective-fantasy: 'here's looking at you, dix'. The dialogue is really starting to grate.

Currently enjoying this and will start ep 4 later. Cage doing a downtrodden gumshoe/James Stewart impression works well.

Annoyingly can't get it to play in B&W for some reason. Why couldn't they just offer both options separately...

Watched the first 4 and enjoyed very much. Not a huge Cage fan but they're all excellent in this. Reminds me a bit of Gotham or Penguin, feel wise, with an extra helping of Film Noir thrown in.

Cage apparently played the role as "a spider cosplaying as a human". Make of that what you will but first new TV I've enjoyed for ages.
