I think that will do well with people of a certain age who grew up with Looney Tunes biggrin i.e. me

Is my absolute favourite cartoon character with such imaginative scenarios. Unfortunately degraded in the later computer generated episodes, but that looked really good. Can't wait.

Just popped in to share this....

Looks really good.
The mixture of animation and live action hopefully will be like Roger Rabbit again.

Yes, YES and Thrice YES!!!!

In a world that has seemingly gone mad, this is just the lighthearted entertainment we needed!

Why did WB try and kill it?

I love Foghorn Leghorn (though I understand that he is considered 'problematical' these days) but I think my favourite has to be Marvin Martian ... no wait Coyote... no whoa, whoa... when I say whoa, I mean WHOA!!! Yosem.... eff it I pretty much love them all

Went to see this last night and it's great. The whole thing with WB trying to bury it as a tax write off makes it better. As well as Coyote and Roadrunner there are some other WB characters. The way they get Coyote to communicate with signs and looks is a great way around having a silent character in a talky legal/courtroom movie. Ketchup released this, and also released The Day The Earth Blew Up, another WB Looney Tunes movie, I haven't seen that but the reviews seem pretty good.

Anyways, it's worth watching this, it adds something to the Coyote vs Roadrunner chases, and has some clips of the old cartoons in the movie. Up with movies, down with massive corporate monopolies. 9 jet boots / 10 anvils.

Saw a piece on Midnight's Edge Youtube channel that stated that the attempt to "bury" it as a tax write-off was a tactic to find another distributor to take any potential costs/losses off the Warner Brother books. This seems to be exactly what has happened!

No box office stats yet, the August 28th date must be the American release being later than us? Ketchup paid $50m. Hopefully it does well enough in ticket sales against that. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/title/tt1756855/

given I've just (re)watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit, this seems like an even better idea to watch

SWMBO and The Boy (all 23 years of him and built like an NFL linebacker) are going to see this on Sunday while I'm at work. I'm not annoyed at all, but it seems round here it's only getting two showings a day and not when 90% of the target audience (our age) can go after work. It will still reinforce my belief that The Tazmanian Devil is the best Looney Tunes character.
