Very much looking forward to this, really enjoyed Tom Hollands arc as Spiderman. I also really like Andrew Garfield's arc too and was gutted when it wasnt continued.

It's going to be interesting to see if they bring it all back full circle to where it was at the beginning of No Way Home or if it continues off into a totally different direction.

I saw some of this being filmed in Glasgow last August so will be watching those scenes to see how they look on screen, versus what I saw in 'real life'!

Still looking forward to this, haven't watched the latest trailer as usually the last trailer drop spoils too much, I have only watched the first one once. Trying to plan out going to see it, likely on my own, choice between Cineworld or Odeon

Just back from this.

Entertaining and a good Marvel outing. But a bit too long (feels a bit like one of the later Harry Potter books: would have benefitted from a good sub-editor) and feels like it’s two scripts that have been meshed into one. Mark Ruffalo/the Hulk and Florence Pugh/ Black Widow could easily have been written out of the story to cut 45-60 mins. The cameos (or more in the case of Ruffalo) are fun but felt a bit indulgent. John Bernthal does a great shift as the Punisher though. Spidey shows new levels of both fighting skills and the level of beating capable of being taken by a superhero body. The villain of the piece is a bit of a “woah - how does that work?” piece well concealed by the misdirection in the trailer. The black eyes of Spidey seen in the trailer feels a a development that wasn’t fully resolved.

Did feel long. But was good. Perhaps like Tobey's spider-man 3 it could have been split into two as a more time could have been spent on some characters

I don't think I've seen a Spider-Man film since that absolutely dreadful rendition of Venom in the Toby McGuire flick which has got to be pushing 20 years now. I'll have to catch up with the Tom Holland arc at some point though I'd read they played it pretty safe with this one.

I don't want to put anyone off but it's a no from me. A little bit ott with voodoo stuff and CGI Vs a good script. Maybe a 6.5 but can see why others would like it

Watched it yesterday, loved it, Hulk is brilliant and I love the darker side to Spiderman, however towards the end I did feel that it dragged a bit.

I echo this as well(watched it this afternoon), and It was too long for me by a long way, but I did enjoy the darker side of him as you say, and anything with the Hulk in ticks my boxes anyway for sure.

Off topic, but why did David Banner's name get changed to Bruce Banner over the years by the way?

They changed it to David Banner for the tv series. Something about TV execs thinking Bruce was too gay sounding...

The tank scene was filmed in Basingstoke... the old condemned AA headquarters.
( Due for demolition... good old CGI).
