They're back, another bunch is wannabes showing just how thick they are, starting tonight.

First episode buy stuff when you don't understand what you need to buy!

Lord Sugar’s business hopefuls jet off to Hong Kong on a mission to secure nine items at knock-down prices. In the boardroom, the boss is back, and the firing finger is fully loaded.

I can't wait!!

I did see on that Reddit website last year that there was a post made by one of the production team who said that when it airs, he's already picked the winner. Then they build the show and tasks around that. I'm not surprised.

I've said it for pretty much the last 15 series - forget the "apprenticeship" or the "£250k investment" - just make it an out and out £250k cash prize.

That way you might get people with genuine business acumen applying. At the moment nobody with a decent business is going to give 50% of it away for £250k.

The first few episodes always focus on the epic doofuses who get fired in short order. Keep an eye on candidates who don't get any airtime early on one of them will be the winner.

It is for sure! But we wouldn't have it any other way!

I do like some of them though. Last years winner who we haven't heard of since, Dean was on Celebrity Mastermind the other week & Thomas Skinner was on the Celebrity Apprentice too.

Define celebrity .
As you don't seem capable of looking it up yourself

That’s my opinion on programs like X Factor, choose the next star performer and then promote them by building a fake tv show around them

There is a book by Ben Elton ("Chart Throb") which completely dissects the process to show how fake it all is.

He's nuts about watches and cars, back in the early days when the dosh started to roll in he bought a new Jensen Interceptor and works on the basis that the first third of an investment is to buy the goods, second third to distribute and flog the stuff and the final third should be pure profit if everything goes to plan smile

How does that make a profit if it's a free subscription then? How does his Sugarship get his investment back?

His current business is "Harry Can't Sit Still" a drink made for the ADHD and Anxious. If he's going to call his business makemyday, the .com and .co.uk domains are still available. And Make My Day Ltd already exists, formed in 2000.

Spot on (and we’ll all be glued to the screen to see how useless they really are biggrin).

The profiles of this year’s contestants on the Beeb makes for cringey reading, as always.

Whilst I still think it's a good format, viewers have been taken for utter fools for the last half a dozen seasons now. I won't be watching it this year
