Comedian Guz Khan takes on the wild world of car modification. With zero mechanical know-how, he teams up with best mate Lumboo and expert mechanic Darryn, hitting car meets and learning from passionate modders as he builds his own daring custom creation.

Sounds awful. Anyone remember Leepo and Bernie s custom efforts ..
I wouldn't touch one of his cars but it was an entertaining watch. I like Guz be interested in seeing what he does with an S2000 (in the first episode I believe)
T.I will apply my twenty minutes rule to this one... but after watching the trailer, this may be wishful thinking.
( I still struggle with the Smallest Cog... but I'm getting better.)

It's a NO from me
Gave up on it at the ad break and turned off...... don't find that Guz geezer funny or interesting in the slightestTo be fair, I don't think I'm the target audience its aimed at so won't bother watching any more.
Think they are trying to appeal to the much younger guys that find existing car related programs boring but I for one will be surprised if there's a second series.
The Heart of England Event shown in the show is genuinely great though. Im very local, and was there the day this was filmed (but fortunately not in shots) but its a very varried event. There was one of those very expensive Toyota 2000GT (I think) there once. Well worth a look if youre local.

I quite enjoyed the programme, partly because of the above. Also because of the young guy doing the hot rod and for the beach buggy. I love beach buggies. The whole show made a good change for me from blokes going on about "originality" restoring the same old cars. I'd love to see what the hot rod guy ends up with. Escort3500 said:

Yeah, that was awful! Basically an hours show to fit an aftermarket exhaust they'd bought. With a few visits to people who had modified cars.
And plenty of yo bruv innit Prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt... endured twenty five minutes of absolute nothingness.

I had to check that that this wasn't Drew Pritchard's Salvage / Restorer buddy.
