This premiered yesterday. Written by the chap who wrote Succession and with a strong cast, including Steve Carrell and Jason Schwartzman.

It’s a satire about a group of billionaire tech bros in a mountain retreat for a poker game whilst political and social instability breaks out across the world as a result of a social media app update that one of them has just released.

I had high hopes based on some decent online reviews. It was ste. Some good performances and a couple of decent lines that managed to elicit a chuckle but the plot was so ridiculous, even for a satire, that I just checked out.

Perhaps I’m just not clever enough to understand it or perhaps it is just ste.

Watched it last night. The premise of the film seemed good and it looked nice.

What a complete waste of 2 hours of my life I’m never getting back. Ending was dreadful to rub salt into the wound.
