I've recently put a small TV up in my garage/workshop and rather than listening to music like normal, I've been casting youtube videos to the TV which has been great

I don't want to put normal TV series on, I'm not trying to watch TV and I have access to Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ etc already. I'd like to stream videos that can play in the background and I can listen to while I'm working on something, and then look up and watch when it looks particularly good. I've tried videos that are more visual without much sound, like the redbull bike skills tricks ones, but I didn't enjoy them as I'm not really watching properly and the sound is more music than discussion. I think I'd rather a show or video style podcast that you can listen to as much as watch every now and then.

Would like recommendations for videos that are good (or maybe channels). For example I watched the late brake show Dario Franchitti garage tour and then armchair chat, they were great

Into cars, motorbikes, bicycles, workshop stuff, outdoorsy stuff

If it helps, I listen to quite a lot of podcasts (e.g chris harris, the intercooler, current affairs) and I know I can watch the video versions of these. Light hearted or funny stuff also good, love the video of Riccardo Patrese scaring and his wife in a Honda Civic Type R :-)

But all recommendations welcome!

If you're into bikes then how about Itchy Boots? https://www.youtube.com/@ItchyBoots

She travels around the world on various motorbikes, and the videos are mostly her riding through remote places while travelling from country-to-country, and interacting with people she meets. It's pretty easy watching so might suit your situation.

Season 7 is particularly good, riding through Africa.

C90 Adventures - specifically the ludicrous Mini Jeep road trip stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8Bvy8wHD7g&li...

David Freiburger's stuff is good. https://www.youtube.com/@TheDavidFreiburger

Calum's videos on things like arctic exploration vehicles: https://www.youtube.com/@CalumRaasay

A long one (it's 7.5hrs!) but this video on the Lincoln Highway was something I enjoyed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmFQR0IltDQ

Harry Dwyer - has been uploading videos of his trip around the UK in a 4m RIB (Avon Searider if you are interested). It’s a bit like Project Binky in that it’s taken 5 years so far and is not yet complete. Anyway there are currently 24 episodes to watch starting with this one.

I have found this series to be an utter joy to watch (even though it takes 3-4 months for Harry to edit each episode)
