Guy Phoenix takes on Monaco
Discussion
He has a pretty fancy villa in France he used as a base to commute from. His work ethic is insane; he must be hell to work for (and he reminds me of Brian Johnson!). Apparently in Monaco he was only allowed to work 9-noon and 2-5pm or the residents complained. The view from the roof was THE view though...

A two hour lunch break? That's very French 😋

Thanks. Love him or hate him, you have to respect what he does. The permission to do the work went with the former owner, so while waiting for 3 weeks for the new permission, he was checking out luxury yachts for inspiration.droopsnoot said:
I've seen the first one, interesting enough but a fair bit of padding as he takes us around the sights of Monaco. I haven't seen the British series, was that on proper TV, or just online somewhere?
This was broadcast on Channel 4. Do different countries have different versions?Allegedly he has been sniffing around a property at the end of my road, no idea if that is true but my cameras did catch a 458 going by a few weeks ago.
He's a character and I think some of it is just for show. His homes seem to be built for footballers, but each to their own.
Monaco is interesting, looking forward to the next episode.

Interesting turn of phrase there. He's a character and I think some of it is just for show. His homes seem to be built for footballers, but each to their own.
Monaco is interesting, looking forward to the next episode.
