Detective James Cormack of the Queensland Police Service attempts to balance his work on cold cases with a personal mission to find his brother, who went missing when they were children

Don't think this has been discussed before. Gritty Australian drama starring Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings, has more recently been in the Dune series and Raised by Wolves)
First season is on iPlayer, just finished second season and and really rate it 7.5/10

Watched the first episode of series 2 - Jack of Clubs - last night. Quite involved with lots of flashbacks.

I will stick it out a bit longer to see if it develops and holds my attention.

Finished series 2. Definitely worth sticking with.

Now on series 1. Again great and shame I have watched them the wrong way round. Really warmed to the detective character and whilst the 2 series are separate cases, there are some good threads running through both.

It also feels different from the usual UK/US drama, has a real Australian feel to it with different history and context. And some nice v8 car sounds in series 1!

Watched both series this week thought they were very good and well worth watching, Great twist at the end did not see that coming.

Ended up watching the first episode of series 2 one night and really enjoyed it.

Have now watched all of series 2 and then moved to series 1.

As above, really nice to watch something that wasn’t standard UK/USA police drama. The second series in particular was very good. Interesting camera shots, good soundtrack, has a certain dark and creepy edge to it and the central detective character was really good.

Hope he isn’t too famous to do another series as will definitely be watching one if they do it.

I watched series 1 when it came out, found it quite dull and only just managed to finish it. Is S2 better?
