YT ads

I doubt I can find a solution but wonder if anyone has any hacks of advice.

I am a very frequent YouTube user on PC where I have some good adblockers in play and have noticed a staggering increase in time and unskippable ads on the Playstation versions of YouTube. It makes it borderline unwatchable quite frankly every 5 minutes you have a minute long ad that you cannot skip as before.

They have this facile test top left that says there will be less ads if you watch in full, but that seems to make no difference, is there anything else you can do? I am not hopeful sadly!!

There are solutions that involve blocking ads at a network level , before they get to your devices, but its not something ive played with. IIRC usinng a low spec PC as a firewall with some trick software..

Someone told me to just click back on the browser then click forward and it skips the advert.

I do this most days now and it works well for me.

I am sure you probably know this already.
