As the Harry’s Garsge thread had become very OT since Reeves imposed a draconian tax on farms I thought I’d start onehere for our favourite agricultural automobilist.

I think after the latest announcement, a separate thread is a good idea.

That also means I can ask a question I've been wanting to for ages if Harry himself is reading (and has the time to answer):

What are the names of the fields and do any of the names have a good story behind them?

Every now and then when a name is mentioned or pops up on the combine screen, I'm intrigued as to how many fields there are, their names and the reason (if any) for the name.

Maybe I need to get out more, lol

I've already asked him this because most farms have quaint names for fields. Harry's fields had the names they do when he bought the farm. He doesn't know why.

I'm not blaming Harry for this as he would be a fool not to, but why the flying duck is it more profitable to stop growing crops and put two thirds of the farm out of production?

Talk about the government (past and present) shooting us (the taxpayer) in the foot.

Should sell his combine to Jezza.

It looks like in 2026 we had all better to get used to eating flowers.

The government are just nobs the lot of em, they don't want food grown here they want to import it.
