Watched 'Ellis' last night. Black female detective brought in to solve difficult case.

Lots of double takes when people realise that the detective in charge is a woman - and black - but nobody actually says anything.

Too stereotyped for me. Would the other DCI still be around fiddling with the case?

Mrs A liked it, but then she likes all this stuff. I don't think I will bother.

Although I'm not a fan of the actor who plays Ellis, I thought it was quite good and will no doubt watch the rest, when available.

I’m enjoying this in an easy to watch and spot the twist style - she’s a striking woman.

Third one seemed crap compared with first two.

I thought the same. Thankfully it was the last one of this series.
