Feel like I've lost my mind, I could swear I saw a discussion about this on here and people questioning whether Attenborough's narration was actually AI.

Having watched three episodes of this, I feel like I've already seen a lot of this content? The nuclear power station in Israel and the sharks for example. Then in episode 3, the bear with the cubs came on and I said to the Mrs "mum saves the day with a salmon" and sure enough, that's how it ends.

So, are they just editing old footage from Planet Earth, etc together and then using AI for the narration and calling it new?

Missus was sure she had seen the fox hunting the little rodents before.

Sounds great. I can't wait to hear about Tiger Mountain, which is a half tiger and half mountain and the plight of the tawny shagged snagglebop, a native of the rainforests of Borneo whose habitat is threatened because of "Western Civilisation".

Great images but the format is stale and my wife kids don’t like it because of the death that’s always shown on it, surely we can have a wildlife programme without having to constantly show the battles of life and death where poor cuddly animals get eviscerated.

The ones where they jump up? I'd seen that before too.

And the rodent that craps in the pitcher plant.

I guess we are at the stage where old content is just being repackaged as new.

Looking at the image from space of Asia at the beginning of the programme it looks like a lot more of the continent than I thought is desert.

I hate the bit towards the end of every episode just before the how it was filmed segment.

You, yes you Croyde! sitting there drinking a nice red and scoffing crisps. You are killing the planet and murdering all these animals. You monster!

Act! before it's too late.

So I do and have a quick loo break before Strictly biggrin

Totally agree.
I used to enjoy watching these programmes but it’s all become a bit too political these days so it’s an instant turnoff now. The format is getting stale too.

It always amuses me when it's Attenborough or Lumley etc lecturing us plebs why we shouldn't travel the world when they themselves have travelled to far more places than I will ever be able to! rolleyes

I think there's lots to be gained by the many when Attenborough travels the world to make these programmes. As for when others go on all inclusive holidays to Spain where they over eat, over drink and secretly p!$$ in the pool then I would say there is perhaps very little for others to gain.

A bit like the BBC climate editor Justin Rowlatt who travels the world telling us all about the effects of climate change - currently in Baku, Azerbaijan with thousands of other hypocrites for the COP29 summit.
Boils my piss!

How do you know Lumley and Attenborough don’t go to Spain and secretly piss in the pool, on top of all their documentaries? bds.

Most of the time he's doing voice overs. Just do voice overs for the whole thing. Do an intro standing in front of a dinosaur skeleton at whatever museum closest to the production company headquarters has a dinosaur skeleton. Those people going on all inclusive holidays to Spain are providing economic activity!
