Ethan and Jack formally of CarThrottle started their own channel about 6 months ago. Initially looked like it would be centred around cars, but it's gone more towards travel and adventures, especially on a budget.

I'm finding them very interesting and watchable and it's definitely inspired me to get out and do a few more trips. Some of the ideas are a bit silly, and they do end up punishing themselves, but it's good evidence you can get out and have a good time without spending much money.

Worth a watch IMO.

Been watching it since they started, mainly because I like them from the Car throttle days.

Wasn’t that keen on their Iceland videos but the once since have been pretty entertaining and I think they have found their format now. Definitely worth a watch

We already have a vloggers thread, they were great on car throttle sadly the lack of budget is not going to help long term.

The Japan trip was brilliant but downhill since.

I’ve enjoyed all their videos until this most recent one, which was basically unwatchable. I’m sure it sounded funny on paper but watching two guys wear VR headsets didn’t work for me.

I watched the first of the Iceland videos, but haven't been drawn to the rest. Will probably unsubscribe soon.

I've really enjoyed the videos they've put out so far. I enjoy Jack and Ethan and share their sense of humour (or so it seems) so enjoy watching them regardless of what they get up to. I like that it isn't too focused on one particular niche and that they are able to put out such variety of videos, but I also understand why some people might hate that concept.

Highlight for me was the Japan trip, but the low budget videos have been good as well. There were some proper laugh out loud moments in the latest video (the VR headset one). "DO NOT LOOK DOWN" being a particular favourite 🤣

Yeah I'm the same, I love all the low-budget stuff and also the high-budget Iceland and Japan trips but yesterday's episode was an idea from down the pub which should never have been made.

Yeah I've been enjoying this channel for a while. When there were suddenly three channels under the Autoalex umbrella, I wasn't sure how they were going to make three car based YouTube channels work and it's been good to see the direction they've taken with this one.

They're simple ideas, daft but with a bit of adversity, and it works surprisingly well. I find the lads good company, and their friendship is genuine so there's none of the awkward forced banter that can make this kind of thing hard to watch.

I haven't seen the latest one yet but they're all the kind of ideas and experiments people come up with in the pub so it's inevitable they'll have a few duds along the way. I don't mind giving them a bit of space for that.

All the gear was never set up as a car based channel, I wonder if maybe they have restrictions short term on what Jack and Ethen can do following leaving car throttle hence why no real car content.
