BBC News presenters - do we know their names yet?
Discussion
BBC News seems to be focussed more on the presenters names than the actual news stories.
A typical story is covered something like
"Over to X our correspondent on xxxx"
"Thank you Y, yes blah blah blah"
"Back to you Y in the studio"
" Thank you X. That was X there"
I think by now we all know their names if we care enough to be bothered. There really is no need to repeat them 4 or 5 times.
Is there a quiz at the end or do they get paid more every time their name is mentioned.
I swear it takes at least 5 minutes out of each 30 minute programme.
