It actually looks interesting and might be a good opportunity to really start breaking away from the sort of crud that they have been churning out in the MCU in the last few years. Just get back to the roots of good comic book action with a bit of grittiness, bit of humour mixed in.

Unfortunately, probably so many people have become disenchanted with the franchise and won't be going to watch it that it won't get a fair chance though.

Hopefully this will be a decent film. The opening of the trailer did make me think why the Avengers couldn't help with the new bad though. Obviously Iron-Man is dead, but the Hulk is still about isn't he? And they now got She-Hulk. Although everyone has 'forgotten' Spider-Man is Peter Parker, he is still a known super hero is he not? Nick Fury is on a spaceship somewhere isn't he, but he's not just going to abandon Earth and he must of given someone the phone number to Captain Marvel [I really can't remember where she is]. Where is Thor? I'm sure he'll help...although he is a Father now. God knows where Dr Strange is...he went off with Charlize Theron somewhere. Deadpool and Wolverine can get involved now! Who have I missed...just WhatsApp Captain Marvel, she can fly back pretty fast!

I think the point is that the Avengers was a Stark funded organisation that replaced SHIELD. No Avengers isn’t so much no hero’s as so much as no organisation bringing them together.

Which all reads very serious for a make believe film series….

There's a scene in the film where Florence Pugh jumps off the Merdeka 118 in Malaysia, the second tallest building in the world. As the stunt got nearer to filming, she found out they wanted to have a stunt double do it, because of little things like safety and insurance hehe . So she Karen emailed Kevin Feige over and over until they let her do the jump and not the stunt double. I knew she was pretty fearless with stuff, cutting her hair off for We Live In Time, getting her boobs out for... a lot of films. Tom Cruising off a building was a new one though.
