'Bet now!' was the phrase.

The Japanese are crazy when it comes to entertainment, they have some wacky gameshows.

I went through a phase of watching Japanese pranks on YouTube years ago.
Some of the stuff you'd never get away with here.

There is a weird and wonderful collection of late 90s shows that were made by UK production companies but spoofed formats from other countries so well that you’d actually think they were imports. Banzai is a prime example, as was Euro Trash.
