Based on a true story of a rapist in France who got away with his crimes for over thirty years and how French police / justice failed these women. Not an easy watch because of the subject matter but well worth watching. This six-episode series fictionalises the story of the notorious French serial rapist Dino Scala who attacked more than 50 women and minors across three decades, if it was not fictionalised it would be a 20 episode series as the truth is a lot worse than what was in the program.

Gripping series, inept police work, over-reliance on criminal profiling and the laborious inquisitorial system of justice led to someone well known to the plods to be free to rape and assault women for decades.

We just watched this. A great series. Shocking how he wasn’t caught back in the 80’s.
