Anyone else come across this YouTube channel, basically a video version of the joy of old shed thread on here, many happy hours viewing.
A load of rusty heaps of crap that are never going to be back on the road. I have lost count of the times he has pointed to some rusty old panel claiming it is "solid metal"I have not looked at his channel for years but he has another video on the W123 with a heading of "End of the road for the W123?". In this video he is prodding the floorpans with a screwdriver and it is going straight through the rust.
He has been working on it for years and years, I seem to remember adding a comment that he should scrap it 3 or 4 years ago.
Someone who never seems to know when he is out of his depth.
I've never found his 'repair' videos very interesting but I've enjoyed his road tests of classics over the years. This side of the channel is very similar to I Drive A Classic, and to some of Hubnut's output, though admittedly the Furious Driving guy has a bit less charisma than Steph or Ian.

I agree. I’m really not interested in repairs on some old heap. But, like Hubnut, I do enjoy the road tests of interesting cars.I too like his road tests, and his day job as a photographer on classic car magazines seems to give him good access to a nice variety of cars.
Some of his tinkering videos are entertaining, but like some other channels, his fleet is too large so it is difficult to see progress on projects, so it can seem like nothing ever gets finished which isn't good for story telling.
(Plus most of the cars have no real value so there's no benefit in selling them, so they just sit around.)
Comparing to similar channels, someone like 'Tasty Classics' manages to get a good mix in cracking on with a single project, or doing a 'will it start' video on a car and then binning it off as too much work, and he tries to sell off projects once he's made some progress.
