Tried to get into the one with Daryl but couldn’t, also the other one with Rick which I found really flat, so thought third times the charm with these multiple spin offs they’re doing.

Maybe I’m too critical, but straight away it opens with Maggie watching lots of walkers across the river, completely oblivious to what might be behind her, getting caught out because she doesn’t look behind her yet again, and then noisily starts bashing the one that “surprised “ her to death, yelling as she goes which would no doubt have attracted loads more (but didn’t, for a reason).

Surely after years of dealing with zombies you have some sort of basic survival “it’s behind you!!” Skills and instincts, I’m going to stick with and see if it develops into anything but not a great start

I started on the Darryl one last night, lasted about 15 minutes. You'd think the smell of multiple 80+kg chunks of rotting flesh would tip them off that there are zombies close by now.

The new ones are all just cash cows. All very poor IMHO.

I can't be bothered with them anymore.
Loved the original to start with, persevered through the later seasons but there's no "end" points, just more and more spin offs..

Are they on anything other than NowTV?
I've been watching out for them, but wont subscribe to another service (yet).

Quite liked the Daryl Dixon series - better than the Rick one imo. Reviews of The Dead City are slightly less encouraging than Daryl Dixon but I will give it a go.

I still never watched the last half series of TWD after Sky pulled their devious move of switching it to another channel.
