OK, I'm usually pretty good at this sort of thing, but I'm stumped.

Wanted to get Discovery+ (for Olympics coverage) and they have a special offer on of £3.99 per month until Xmas.

Downloaded the Discovery+ app on my Firestick and went to the purchase screen, where it only lists £6.99 per month or an annual cost.

Went onto the Amazon app on my phone, and there was a link to the £3.99 offer, so clicked on that, and pressed the Buy It Now button, I get a confirmation screen and all seems good. I can open Discovery+ on my phone and watch programs so it looks like i have a subscription.

However, I can't get it on the Firestick - If I open the Discovery Plus app and try to stream anything I get asked for a login password, and I haven't got one.

I've been through all the menu options i can find on phone and Firestick to try and find how to link my Discovery+ subscription from phone to Firestick, but to no avail.

Anyone know what i am missing? (other then the Opening ceremony unless i can get this working smile)

Discovery Plus is included with my Sky TV subscription. I changed from Sky Q to Sky Stream and now my Discovery Plus does not recognise my subscription and I have made countless calls to Sky and Discovery to get it fixed.

I really want Discovery Plus for the Olympics.

I also think the 3.99 offer is for new customers only, so if you've already registered for an account previously you can't get it... just use a different email

I think you need to use the Prime TV app on your Firestick, then D+ will appear as a channel that you are subscribed to.

I had the same with Paramount+

No you don’t.

I literally sat in front of my Firestick and Discovery+ on the TV when I wrote the instructions in my post above.
I think Carl is right. I've been chatting to a Customer Service rep, and if you sign up to Discovery+ through Amazon you can only access it through the Prime app, you can't use the Discovery+ app on your Firestick/SmartTV to watch it.
