Do you switch between different program series on platforms like Netflix/Prime?

If I start a series I often can't watch anything else until I've completed that one.

For example, I'm 5 episodes into 21 of SWAT and I want to watch the new Godzilla film but can't drag myself from SWAT first!

Same here - except I wouldn't watch either of those.

I mix and match unless it's really good.

I flip between stuff unless I end up addicted. Finished watching Billions and went on to Tulsa King but watching Seal Team in between with the wife.

I don't watch any live TV anymore and have got rid of Sky and any recording capability as it's just not needed.

Pay for NOW/Netflix/Disney/Prime/Paramount+/ITVX/Channel 4 etc

Like being able to still move between TVs in the house, iPad, Macbook when I'm away, iPhone on train etc and just pick up where I left off.

I've kept recording with the VM box but it is currently 99% free storage.

We tend to stick with one thing, rather than flitting between series'

Just spent several weeks going through 'The Americans' on Disney+ (which was excellent)

Now looking for something new - there's a couple on Netflix I've been queueing up.

I mix a few things and watch depending on the mood, unless i get addicted to something. I also spend a lot of time watching YoyTube, more than an other platform. Rarely watch normal TV.

I stick to one or two programs at a time. I even stick with them if I’m not really enjoying them like I am doing right now with Eric on Netflix and This is Us on Prime.

I tend to watch live to air TV during the day as background noise, i.e. various news channels, then with my wife watch an episode from a different series each evening as a routine. I wake up early on weekends and often watch a couple of episodes of a series that my wife has no interest in. Also, I often have a Saturday/Sunday post Grand Prix Tv series that I watch with my son - usually sci-fi Star Wars/Marvel rubbish.

That's why it takes months to watch the latest TV show, it sometimes has to wait in the backlog before entering the watching schedule which then is 1 episode a week.

Currently on the go :
Rewatching Inspector Morse.
Just finished Ripley - need a replacement series.
Rewatching Midsomer Murders.
Just finished 'The Long Game' - need a replacement series.

So next week, we'll need two new series to watch - that's when the arguments begin smile

I’m an oddball. I find very little on streaming that I care to watch. Occasionally I find something I like such as Bosch or Clarkson’s Farm, but I find most of it either totally uninteresting (such as any of the fantasy/medieval warfare/dragons/sci-fi shows) or disappointing.

I’ll have two things on the go at once - one thing easy and fairly brainless (for when I have no energy) and one thing a bit more involved (for when I do have energy of an evening). Films are a rarity now for me.

Similar for me. I've not watched a 'proper' series, start to finish, since Breaking Bad. Clarksons Farm is good but it's more of a documentary than some sort of drama.

What normally happens is that me + Mrs will start to watch something over a few nights. Then she'll crack on and watch the rest of the series without me whilst I'm working (she supposedly also works full time). Unless it's something amazing, I can't be arsed to watch the remaining episodes. E.g. Red Eye, I missed the last episode; Welcome to Wrexham, missed the last few.

I tend to watch one thing and stick with it until the end but find these days that I can end up checking the plot of a movie on wikipedia, reading it entirely and then deciding I've "seen enough" and not actually watch it. It's driving some members of my family mad as they are film buffs.

Switch between.

Pay for all of the streaming services and have Sky too. Still watch a lot on Sky and like the functionality of it.

Same here. Most of my TV viewing is one-off documentaries though I do like series where blokes with beards do up old junk and try to sell it for £50. But in each case I never binge-watch.
