Yes I’m quite enjoying it too. Not seen Joel edgerton in anything before but he’s quite well cast.

Good book, if you like this sort of thing. Same guy wrote one called Recursion and it’s even better, being made into a tv series too.

The first couple of episodes were pretty weak - they went really slow and tried to play what was going on as a complete mystery (typical viewers will be by now well acquainted with the 'multiverse' concept so that idea fell flat). It was all pretty bland TBH, and the characters didn't grab me.

However, it started to pick up in Ep3 and really got going in Ep4. There's a lot of potential there and I guess it could either turn out to be a mind-bending SciFi or a standard Drama about 'the road not taken/grass is greener' (a bit like 'Sliding Doors'), depending on what the author of the book (who adapted it for TV) was aiming for.

I do like that there is just about enough info to make the mechanics of jumping between universes seem plausible .. but only just. There's no effort to try to come up with some overly detailed explanation which is only ever going to be picked apart and create plotholes.

Episode 5 keeps up the momentum. Also, it isn't being totally predictable which is unusual these days when stuff seems to be written to a strict, simple formula that is very easy to predict.

Definitely the show is doing a great job of building the characters, answering viewers questions and expanding possibities.

The book was very well received and feedback indicates that this has been adapted very well. I bought the Kindle book from Amazon as they were doing it for 99p (tie in with the release of the TV show) but will wait for the show to finish before reading it.

One of the best TV scifi shows in recent times.

Glad to see someone started a thread on this.

Really really enjoying it. The only negative is the weekly release. Would be great to binge them all.

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest episode (7).

Episode 7 discussion

The gun store scene at the end. Two Jason's both dressed the same and looking to puchase a gun. Did anyone else get the impression this wasnt the two Jason's we have seen, that another Jason has traveled to the same dimension?
